Italian furniture Designer: Alessandro Isola
An Italian designer has caught my attention. His name is Alessandro Isola and he comes from the land of fashion and design, but still the gelato, pizza and calcio. That's a promising combination, right? And so ... Signor Isola began his education in his homeland, where he studied art and interior design and then he went to England.
There he continued his education at the School of Architecture at Oxford Brookes University. Already at the beginning of his career, he worked for renowned English design and architecture firms and over time he established himself as one of the most innovative designers. His work is characterized by imaginative shapes, but in a great way to support and even further develop the furniture functionality.
How else can the carpet turn into a functional sofa or a mirror-polished coffee table? Take a look at his fascinating designer furniture and let yourself be surprised.

Stumble upon Sofa - that's the name of this unique carpet sofa
Carpet that turns into a comfortable living room sofa - what a great idea ?! It sounds a bit crazy, but this example proves that the idea can work very well in practice.
Lay the carpet differently
The inner carbon fiber core of the carpet allows it to take the desired shape and gives it strength and stability. This unusual seating not only offers seating comfort, but also storage space for books. Would not that be a cozy reading corner? Even the domestic cat enjoys it.

The carpet can also be combined with other living room furniture. Usually there is a coffee table on the carpet in the living area. This is about untypical designer choices and the living room table is simply a part of the carpet.
Stumble upon Coffee Table
With such a carpet you do not need a coffee table
Both surfaces of the carpet stand in stark contrast to each other - fluffy and soft to mirror-like and firm. This is how the coffee table looks better.
The design is right, the function too
Below you will see unique cork furniture. The designer idea was inspired by the natural process of erosion. In the wild, solids are "eaten" by the wind and water flow, and that's why the "eroded" furniture has gotten a bizarre shape.
